Students interested in joining the trap team must sign up at https://KY.usaclaytarget.com/registration by February 26th, 2024 in order to have uniforms in time for the first competition. (see instructions below)

Based on the increased number of student athletes this year we will have to shoot Trap at either Central Kentucky Gun Club in Berea or Bluegrass Sportsmen’s League in Wilmore.

Sporting Clays will still be done at Elk Creek Hunt Club in Owenton. 

Days and times for both are still TBD at this time. Trap will more than likely be on a weeknight and Sporting Clays will be on a weekend day.

COSTS: $40 for league, ~$6 for 25 clays (Trap), ~$19.50/ea for 50 clays & cart (Sporting Clays), ~$10 for 25 shells, ~$35 Uniform Shirt, ~$20 Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection ~$10 to $35.

ADDITIONAL COSTS: Shotgun, Shotgun Case, Pouch, Vest, Accessories

 

 

Instructions below for those new athletes on how to create new AMS accounts using your TEAM ID.

  1. 1. Please go to: www.claytargetgo.com
  2. 2. Click on AMS
  3. 3. Enter in the following: **Team ID: scs263
  4. 4. Complete all pertinent information
  5. 5. Notify you team’s head coach of creating your new AMS account
  6. 6. Your coaching staff will then invite your son/daughter to complete registration
  7. 7. You can then log back into your AMS account using your new Athlete ID# and password. You will also receive an email notifying you once you are invited to register from your coaching staff. This email is NOT required to complete registration. 
  8. 8. Login to AMS and click on your school’s name and click “Register Now.”
