Jonah Baysinger placed 7th at the wrestling tournament! Congrats Jonah! Go Cards!

Congratulations to SCHS’s Academic Team for finishing 3rd overall at the Regional Governor’s Cup competition on Saturday.

The Quick Recall Team finished 3rd, Future Problem Solving Team finished 2nd, Jillian Johnson finished 1st in math, and Eli Simpson finished 4th in social studies.

Well done to all of our team members on a great season – and good luck at State to the FPS Team, Jillian, and Eli!

Adison Ford will compete in the 2024 KHSAA Diving State Championships at UK on February 22nd, 2024!

Seniors if you are looking for money to help with college go to SCHS.cards under the Counseling Department and see a full list of local, regional and national Scholarships you can apply for. This list is updated weekly, so check back often.

Are you interested in joining the Bird’s Nest Trap team? Sign-ups must be completed online by February 26th. A link to sign up can be found on the trap team page on our school’s website at schs.cards/trap/

Are you interested in earning high school credit and college credit at the same time and for free??? There will be a Dual Credit Information night on February 27th at 6:00pm held at Great Crossing High School. This event is open to all High School students in the District to learn about dual credit opportunities. Current Sophomores and Juniors, it’s important to attend if you are planning on taking dual credit classes next year!

Attention Class of 2024!!!! Please log onto the Senior Counseling Google classroom for links to submit your baby picture and a senior quote for the 2024 yearbook. Time stamps and inappropriate quotes will not be accepted. Baby pictures and senior quotes are due March 15th.
