Meet Our Athletic Director: Cody Logan
Cody Logan serves as the Athletic Director and Assistant Principal at Scott County High School. In his role, he oversees the school’s athletic programs and works to support student-athletes, coaches, and the many people who make Cardinal athletics possible.
A graduate of Asbury University with a degree in Media Communications, Cody began his career in live television production, working with organizations including the SEC Network, ESPN, Keeneland, and Olympic Broadcast Services. After several years in the professional media industry, he transitioned into education, bringing his real-world production experience and passion for student opportunities to Scott County High School.
During his time at SCHS, Cody built and led a dynamic media and production program while also becoming deeply involved in athletics, event management, student engagement, and school activities. He previously served as Assistant Athletic Director and worked closely with student organizations and athletic events to help create memorable experiences for the Cardinal community.
Now serving as Athletic Director, Cody is committed to creating positive experiences for Cardinal student-athletes, supporting coaches and programs, and continuing to move Scott County High School athletics forward.
Outside of school, Cody is married to his high school sweetheart, Nicole, and together they have two boys. He enjoys golfing, cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers, and coaching his sons’ T-ball teams.
Meet Our Assistant Athletic Director: Bart Bellairs
Scott County High School is proud to have Bart Bellairs continuing to serve Cardinal athletics as Assistant Athletic Director and Head Girls Basketball Coach. A Richmond, Kentucky, native with more than three decades of experience in collegiate athletics, Bellairs brings a wealth of coaching, administrative, and leadership experience to SCHS.
A former two-sport letterman in basketball and baseball at Warren Wilson College, Bellairs began a coaching career that spanned Division I and Division III programs before taking over at VMI in 1994. During his tenure, he became the winningest head coach in school history and earned Southern Conference Coach of the Year honors, along with national recognition from Sports Illustrated. His teams were known for toughness, academic focus, and a strong connection with the surrounding community.
Beyond coaching, Bellairs has served as an athletic administrator at Savannah State University and Southeastern Louisiana University, where he helped strengthen community partnerships, increase fan engagement, and expand opportunities for student-athletes. He has also worked as a college basketball analyst for ESPN.
At Scott County, Bellairs continues to support the Cardinal athletic program as Assistant Athletic Director while leading the girls basketball program. His experience and perspective provide valuable support to coaches, student-athletes, and families across Cardinal athletics.
Bellairs is passionate about helping student-athletes develop the skills and character they need to be successful both in competition and in life.
