Coach McKee enters his 29th year as the Head Football Coach for the Scott County Cardinals. During his tenure, the teams have won 12 District Championships, 9 Regional Titles, and appeared in 4 State Championship Games, winning the 2013 Title. He is the father of three sons, Clay, age 29, an Assistant Football Coach at Scott Co, Colby, age 27, Ranch Foreman at McKee Farms and Cade, age 24, an assistant coach for Scott Co. Baseball along with a substitute teacher in Scott Co. Schools. Coach McKee has been named District Coach of the Year numerous times and has also been honored as state wide coach of the year. In 2014 he served as the Head Coach of both the Best of the Bluegrass and Border Bowl All-Star games. Coach McKee was inducted into the 2019 Class of the Scott County Athletics Hall of Fame. And is the proud grandfather to his two year old grandson Casen Thomas McKee.
